Demand forecast disappears after date has passed

Hi guys,

Hope someone can help me.

We use demand forecasts imported into AX 2012 R2.

We always set the date to be the first day of the month eg. 01-03-2020

But when looking at the Net Requirements the day after the entered date eg. 02-03-2020 the forecast is no longer taken into account.

Is it just me that needs to set a parameter - or is this just how it is supposed to act.

We could enter the last day of the month instead, but that wouldn´t give the right forecast as it should be what we expect to sell a given month.

RE: Demand forecast disappears after date has passed

    Hi,

The forecast is only considered up to the date you have highlighted. If you want it considered for the whole month, you should set the date to the end of the month and set up how actual demand should consume the forecast during the month.

    Kind regards

    Dolores
