Hello,
i tried the kauffmann solution and i am able to generate the barcode but still cannot use it,
i created a new field of media data type in Sales Invoice Header using ext. but i am not able to store the barcode in that field

thanks stefano for the help but i tried this same example its work but it doesnt work for the sales inv report
Do you read the barcode field in your report’s dataitem? It’s quite difficult to help without seeing your code :-)
actually it is not storing the value in that custom field i want to generate barcode for Sales Invoice Header = "No." i did all same just changed the table and field value
please refer the screen shots.
Do you have a corect response from the WS you're calling to generate the barcode?
SalesINVHeader.BarcodePic.ImportStream(InStr, Barcode.Value, 'image/gif');
