Hi everyone
Has anybody tried building an unsubscribe survey, when a contact unsubscribes a subscription list?
Mailchimp has the option, but I can't seem to find anything relating to this in Microsoft Marketing.
Example from mailchimp:
I thought about building it on Forms Pro, but since we need different surveys for different subscription lists, i need some logik on redirect links for forms, so it would be nice with inspiration.
Hi Rui
I know that I can do it by email, but it does not make sense sending a new email to a customer on unsubscribe.
Therefore it needs to be browser based on update (redirect based on unsubscribe), but Microsoft does not allow conditional redirect on submit unfortunately.
Unfortunately marketing forms and pages are very limited in regards to client scripting, and when the functionality isn't supported out-of-the-box as in other marketing apps, it creates a lot of problem for us.
Hi Sinehelth,
This can be done with the Marketing App.
But to do this the unsubscribe needs to be done with a link from an email that is sent by the Marketing App, for instance when you send emails to contacts when you have a campaign.
On this email link it will redirect to one of your Portal form and on this form it asks if the contact want's to unsubscribe and on that form you can add the reason/survey for the unsubscribe reason.
More information about this can be found here: docs.microsoft.com/.../set-up-subscription-center
Stay up to date on forum activity by subscribing. You can also customize your in-app and email Notification settings across all subscriptions.
