Ribbon Workbench: how to hide buttons for multiple subgrids?

Posted on by 405

Hello, we are using CRM Online 2016. I have some a form with subgrids for three different entities. I'd like the buttons to be different for each subgrid, e.g., on some of them I'd like the user to be able to click the New button, but on others I'd like it hidden. When I open the solution in Ribbon Workbench, I can see where to edit the subgrid buttons, but which subgrid will it apply to? All of them? Is there a way I can alter just one of the subgrids?

Based on my understanding, you can add the buttons to all subgrids and add enable rules to enable/hidden in different entities.
