How to change Chart of account in ledger?

Hello,

I have created new legal entity while setting up ledger i have selected COA of another legal entity but there is no transaction in the new legal entity.

Now i have another COA for new legal entity.

After clicking on change chart of account i am getting below error.

Operation canceled: Searching tables for usage of the chart of accounts

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Please advice.

Hi User D365,

The error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." can have different root causes. It could be e.g. data or customization related. I would suggest finding a developer who can debug this scenario and tell you the root cause.
