SSRS Report Manager Showed Blank Page

(0) ShareShare

Hi,

I have an environment with users actively using Dynamics GP SSRS Reports.

For some reasons the SSRS Report Manager page now shows as blank page when users access it as how they usually do. Actions below had been taken, but to no avail.

  • Restart SQL Server Reporting Services
  • Restart World Wide Web Publishing Services (though may not be relevant)
  • Restart the Dynamics GP Server (all services resides in the same server)
  • Checked and confirmed that the Report Manager folder in Program Files are still intact

This "blank page" is seen in all client machines and in the server, for all users. Anybody has any clue on what / where else to look at ?

    Ivan,

If the SSRS Report was modified, the bottom of the Report area needs to be dragged up to the bottom of the actual report, the same with the Width, if the area is too wide or too long you will get an additional blank page.

    Hi Mick,

the SSRS Report is not modified. It's the standard / canned with Dynamics GP SSRS Report.

    Ivan,

Is the whole report blank or just alternate pages.

    Hi Mick,

    The whole page is blank.

When first accessing to SSRS Report Manager, the folders of the reports by modules are not shown, and the top the page title is also not shown. It's basically accessing to a blank page without any word (not even Hello World!).

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with access permission but I dismissed this possibility because the reports were accessible earlier.

    Ivan,

    Next Steps.

    1. Right click on the IE Icon and "Run as Administrator", see how that works.

    2. Check Compatibility settings in IE are not causing grief, even try Chrome.

    3. Try connecting the the Report Server, i.e. http://servername/reportserver, this will be nearly the same as the Report Manager, servername/.../pages, so just change to the actual reportserver.
