Hi everyone,

When trying to do "Filter By" in Dynamics 365 Sales, the old/deleted Accounts and Contacts shows so it is very confusing for users.

Would anyone know a solution to this?

Thanks.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Raisa Enego,

You are talking about views... The case is not happening with me I deleted the account and use the filter by it is not there anymore. I am interested to see the cause/fixIt may be related to the browser cashse.

    1. It was appearingpastedimage1666767960851v2.png
    2. After the deletion disappear pastedimage1666768058620v3.png

    Hi Abdul,

Thanks for your reply but clearing the browser cache doesn't solve the problem.

    Hi Raisa wrote,

Do you mean that those old/deleted Accounts and Contacts didn't show on your view. However, when you filter by on your view, they appeared?

If so, please delete those record again, and check if they still show or nor? If this issue persists, you would better raise a ticket.

    Hi Steve,

The old/delete Accounts & Contacts are not in the records anymoew. But yes, when I use the 'Filter By', they still appear.

Where do I delete them if they aren't in my records anymore?

    Hi,

Are you deleting the record or only deactivating?

When you deactivate any record those record will still be available in CRM but status will be set to Inactive.

So when you do filter by on view you are seeing both active and inactive records

    Thanks Bipin.

Yes, that answers my question! Is there a way we can hide the inactive accounts when we use 'Filter By'?

    Hi,

Go to make.powerapps.com - Select Environment - Expand Dataverse - Tables - Select your table - views - Lookup view - Edit filter criteria to exclude Inactive record
