Best practices for uploading accounts as segments

Hi I am looking for best practices for uploading accounts. I was planning on uploading accounts by industry, and hopefully at the same time set these up as segments. Is this possible? If you can point me to any good site that provide best practices for uploads of accounts as well as contacts, I'd appreciate it. Thank you in advance! Kathy

Hi Kathy,

If you want to upload accounts by industry, you can just insert industry field as a column in any view and then export the view as xls.

Then you will get a excel template and be able to edit the industry field for all accounts in the view(I exported My Active Accounts view).

Segment is the collection of contacts that you target with a customer journey.

You could add associated contacts with an account and build an account-based segment.
