can i remove the tick mark which default selection from lookup record .
We highly recommend users to migrate to PowerUsers community for new Portal questions:
powerusers.microsoft.com/.../PowerAppsPortals

There is no OOB configuration to achieve that.. I haven't tried myself but you can try injecting a JS to the lookup pop-up/modal and clear the selection.
I have an article on a different topic but in that article I have a code on how to inject the JS, you can just change the logic itself: oliverrodrigues365.com/.../
