Transfer Order Cancellation  that became available back in 2020 was working as described in the MS process if all requirements were met , now that i go back to it  I see the cancel button is Greyed out ,

The order is is shipped status and nothing has been received but the cancel button is no longer available , has MS disabled this function .

    Hi Brian,

Do you want to know how to cancel a transfer order?

    Regards,

    Laurens

Hi Brian, I don't think Microsoft has disabled this functionality. If you can't pinpoint to root cause, probably ask your developer to debug which condition/logic is not met.

Do you have Warehouse Work Lines associated with that transfer ? isn't enabled if transfer is linked to a warehouse work

I am having the same issue.
Our Warehouse team set up a TO from our WMS warehouse ("A") to a 3PL non-WMS warehouse ("B") and shipped everything in system.🤦
Now they've re-routed the truck to go to our secondary facility ("C", WMS). We wanted to Cancel the TO, and create a new TO from A to C to show correct traceability of the goods etc.
    • Since the Load is already marked as "Shipped" we cannot reduce the picking quantities.
    • Since the Load is Shipped, we can't affect the Shipment, nor the Transfer Order either.
    • "Cancel" button is greyed out on the "Transfer Order History"
Since this was an urgent situation I convinced my team to
    • "receive" the TO from A->B
    • TJ from B->A to reverse it (onto the correct LPs)
    • create a second TO from A->C to correctly ship the stock
      • WH team needs to go through Shipping process again.
    • attach a Memo to the TOs and TJ that didn't really happen so that Quality will not have audit problems.
    This is far from ideal.
    I have two questions:
    1. What are the requirements for the "Cancel" button to be usable on the Transfer Order History?
    2. Is there a more efficient solution than what I had the team do?
    Thanks!
