    Hi

Are you acquiring your fixed asset using Purchase Order?

if yes then either you acquire your fixed asset using Purchase Invoice or Journal.

if you want the Depreciation Book code to flow then you must go Fixed Asset setup and set Default Deprec. Book when you are acquiring your fixed asset.
