Canada EFT - Data Exchange Definition - Batch Header

Hi,

I added Batch Header/Footer into Canada EFT Data Exchange Definition. Outbound file is generated. It has original File Header/Footer and detail lines in it, but Batch Header/Footer is not in the file.

Am I missing something here?

Thank you

Hi, I am LeaVV, just writing from the different profile. It's in code. To have Batch headers I used Country Export Format US, CA just doesn't have it, at least in that version. Then did some workarounds for some field's values/validations. Hope it helps.

I am running into the same issue and wondered if the best way to handle this. Changing to a US format, then errors out that the transit number is invalid. Anyone resolve this/have ideas?

If the standard features do not meet your needs, I recommend making a simple customization.

    Thanks.

yes, you should enter the correct transit number. (500100015)

    Hi @

The Transit Number for Canadian EFT in may follow some standard Canadian banking structure: like for e.g.
    • 5-digit branch (transit) number

    • 3-digit institution number

    • Combined as 8 digits total (sometimes displayed as XXXXX-YYY or XXXXXYYY).
Please check this, also share the error screenshot which might help further to check.
