Removing Older Version of GP from Desktops

We have migrated through several release of Great Plains and have never cleaned up the PC's connected to the system. We are currently using Microsoft Dynamics 9.0, but desktops have folders for Microsoft business solutions 8.0, Microsoft Great Plains package loader 8.0, Microsoft Dexterity Shared Components. These appear in the Uninstaller section, what is safe to uninstall and delete the folder and not damage the Dynamics 9.0 applications?

If my mind serves me correctly, prior versions to GP 9 did not create any registry entries. So, you can safely use the uninstall process (if available) for each of these releases or simply delete the program folder from the disk.
