CRM 4.0 iFrame to SharePoint 2007 prompts for login

I have created an IFrame in MS CRM that points to an URL in SharePoint 2007. The issue I have is that it prompts for my domain login when I first open the form and tab with the iFrame.Sharepoint is not on the same server as CRM. Once I enter the login info it is OK until I exit CRM.

  • Both servers are Windows 2003 and are on the same domain. 
  • In IE 8, both CRM and Sharepoint are in my Trusted Sites
  • In IE security settings it is set for "Automatic logon with current user name and password.

    We are in a similar situation here..we also have been looking into this but it has to do something with security. We always enter in the login the first time until the session ends. Would love to hear a good solution though

    We are experiencing the same thing. We are using CRM 2011 and SharePoint 2010. We point our sales orders to differnt portals. For one portal we do not receive a login prompt but for sales orders on records sites we do. If any one has a suggestion about how to fix this, it would be most helpful. Users hate having to enter their password just to open an order record in CRM.
