Import currency exchange rate job throwing error.

Hi Folks,

I am trying to run the  Import Currency Exchange Rates getting below error.

An exchange rate could not be found for ISO currency codes ZAR and VND, on the following date: 17/02/2021. Verify the ISO currency codes that are supported by the provider and that are available for the requested date.

I am using oanda exchange rete provider.

How to resolve this issue in AX2012.

    Hi Veeru,

    Are you running this job the first time or is it running for a longer period already? These lines are warnings, no errors. It mentions that it couldn't find an exchange rate for the currency pair on the particular date. You can try to download an XML version of the exchange rates and check which rates are provided for what currency pairs by this service.

    Thank you for your reply.

    It 's running for longer period. last month mid onwards not working.

    QC environment working fine , but production and support instances are not working.

    not sure what was the actual issue.

    Hi Veer,

    This Oanda service requires an API key. Is the provided key the correct one?

    it's working  from long back, all of sudden last month onwards not working.

    How we can validate whether it is correct one or not?.

    Hi Veer,

    If you go to the form Configure exchange rate providers, you can see the API key value. Oanda Rates should have provided the value. You can check with their information if the key is correct.

    Hi Andre,

    QC working fine with the  same service URL , that consist of API key.

    The same service URL pasted in Support environment but it is not working.

    If i trying to open the URL in browser it is showing as BAD Request.

    Is there any way to validate whether the API correct or not?

    Hi Veer,

    If the API keys in both environments are the same, then it might be caused by a firewall or proxy rule in your network. You can contact your system administrator and ask about possible internet traffic policies. I have seen a similar issue in the past where the network administrators blocked internet access on the AOS machine.
