Rollups: is there a particular order to install packages?

Hi there.

I am looking for some information about rollups which I am either overlooking or simply can't find anywhere. I hope someone can help me?

When installing roll-ups, there are several packages:

  • CRMv4.0 - KB971782 - i386 - Server - LangID .exe
  • CRMv4.0 - KB971782 - i386 - Client - LangID .exe
  • CRMv4.0 - KB971782 - i386 - roteador - LangID .exe
  • CRMv4.0-KB971782-i386-DMClient-ENU.exe
  • CRMv4.0 - KB971782 - i386 - SRS - LangID .exe
  • CRMv4.0 - KB971782 - i386 - MUI - LangID .exe
  • I was wondering: Is there a particular order in which those packets must be installed? For example I assuge the Server package must be installed first...

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Regards,
    P.

The only dependency that I can think of is the MUI vs the Server packages. But I think that they are impacting different files so, there is no depencies.

My favorite deployment order is to install package with the same order of the CRM installation:Server, MUI, SRS, Router, Client, and DMClient.

I installed update rollup 7 and it unpublished all workflows and won't allow them to be published again. Has anyone experienced this and is there a solution? Thanks.

      Hi ao,

A couple things to check really quick.

--verify you are still the owner of the workflows
--make a change to one of the workflows, save, then try publishing.

If still no go, please post the error message you are receiving.

Thanks, Alex. I found that the issues were with the assigned owner of the workflow automated emails.
