GP 2015 R2 installation package error. Missing NDP451-KB2858728x86-x64-AllOS-ENU.exe

Installing from an installation package that has worked countless times before, on a newly imaged Windows 7 machine. The error message says The following package files could not be found

\\sharename\redist\DotNetFX451\NDP451-KB2858728x86-x64-AllOS-ENU.exe

In that location IS a folder called DotNetFX35SP1.

How to resolve this issue and get GP installed locally?

Hi Rich1966. Did you find a way around this error? I'm running into the same issue on just a few of the machines. Most of them work fine.

Yes, it was because the .Net framework 4.5 was not installed.

Is it a problem if System ID number sequence gets set to "manual"?
