When I open any report in AX 2012 R2 am getting the below error that

"A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond 192.168.2.8:8202"

Please advise me to fix this issue.

Thanks

Shan

Dear shanawaz, please don't always copy the whole title to tags. Something like "When I open any report in AX 2012 R2 am getting the connection attempt failed error" isn't a good categorization of questions.

Please tell us more about the problem.

Did it work before or are you setting up a new environment. If it used to work, what has changed?

Have you looked at previous discussions, such as this one?

    Hi Martin,

Report was working good before but

After AOS Crash, we installed new AX in the UAT env.

Now Error is coming in the UAT Server new environment.

When I try to open any report in AX 2012 R2 below error message is coming

"A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond 192.168.2.8:8202"

Could you please advise us to solve this issue.

    Thanks

    Shan

Is your new AOS using port 8202 as the services WSDL port? Was your old AOS using port 8202 as the services WSDL port?

Maybe your report is still trying to communicate with the old AOS?

Or if this is the WSDL services port of the new AOS, maybe you didn't open firewall for this port?
