Display primary key fields

Hi All,

I am walking into an existing CRM 2013 Online implementation where the CRM application makes heavy use of the Account, Opportunity and Lead entities.  There are already thousands of records for each of these entities.  The client is asking to create a unique identifier for records of each of the entities.  I was trying to make use of the primary key fields of each entity but there is no way to display it.  Could someone point me in the right direction for this please?  The version of CRM is:  2013 Online.

    you can't display it on the form

    you can copy the value into a text field and display that.

    you could create some javascript or a plugin to copy this value on the create of a record.  To populate the records already credited you could export and import the guid to the text field.

    I would suggest adding new field or use existing field and populate with unique number in the field and add that into form and views. You could use  below plugin from codeplext to populate auto number.

    Hi Degmo,

    I agree with Chitra, adding a unique number as a new field to the accounts would be a simple way of implementing your requirement.
