Item Availability by Event with Forecast

Hi all!

I have to work with forcasts when our lead times now is crazy long. I have manage to do a forcast and show it in Availability by Event, which I think is a very helpful view.

When I got an actual demand, as here, 48pcs on a sales order, the previous laid forcast is is still ticking and ithe result will be a doubled demand (actual demand + forcasted demand). How do I best handle this? I wish there was a field in the head in this view where I could adjust the start date for the forecast to show, but there is not. (On the actual forecast it is a date field, but it seems not to work properly with this view, and a forecast can also contain several items.)

Do I have to go in to the forecast and remove the figures each time when an sales order poppes in to avoid this?

    Hi

    Not sure what is difference:

I have an item with inventory 20, a sales order qty 8, and a forecast qty 10

My forecasted projected inventory is 10, not 2
