I need assistance with the integration between D365 and Azure Blob. Access to information on this topic is very limited. Initially, I thought it would be enough to simply provide the Blob name and connection string, and everything would work. However, after spending many hours researching, I discovered that a special class must be created in D365.
My question is: According to our partner, a separate code and class must be created for each use case. For example, if I want to store an attachment for a GL journal (class "Attached File"), I need to create a specific code and class. If I want to store an invoice image (PDF) using the same class ("Attached File"), I would again need to create a separate code and class.
I would like to understand whether this is truly necessary and if this is the standard way to work with Azure Blob. If so, it seems completely inefficient.
Please advise.
