How to make On-Hand Inventory Count to 'Zero'

Is there a way to bulk update the on-hand inventory count for products to 'zero' in D365? Currently, I have to retrieve the on-hand data from D365 and then post a negative inventory adjustment via DMF / Excel Add-in. Is there a simpler way to accomplish this?

    Hi!

To update inventory amounts, you can use the counting journal, which will automatically create lines based on on-hand list. For the necessary items, you need to set the new value to zero and then post the journal.

To use the counting journal to update the amount of several items to zero, follow these steps:

    1. Go to Inventory management > Journal entries > Item counting > Counting.
    2. On the Action Pane, select New.
    3. In the Name field, select the inventory counting journal name you want to use from the drop-down list.
    4. Run the job to generate lines in the counting journal for items that have reached zero on-hand inventory.

This process will update the amount of the items to zero in the counting journal

You can find more details how to operate with counting jurnals by following links:
