    Hi Jonathan,

add a lookup field with "Campaigns" as target entity to the "Contact" form. Go to the n:1 relationships of "Contact", open the "Lead" relationship and switch to mappings. Create a new mapping between the "campaignid" field of the Lead and your "new_sourcecampaign" field. Save and publish and your done.

If your company uses the Lead entity you could consider to use this relationship to get the informations you need instead of creating rendundant data.

    Regards

    Benjamin

    Hey Ben,

Thanks for the help.. However i am getting stuck at the step: Create a new mapping between the "campaignid" field of the Lead and your "new_sourcecampaign" field.

I have created a new mappings, I have selected 'campaignid' but cannot find the 'new_sourcecampaign' field in the Target Entity Fields...

    regards,

    Jonathan

I tried to creating a new field called  'new_sourcecampaign' in Contact but got the following error when attemting to map it with campaignid..

    Invalid field map

This field map is invalid. A valid field map must meet these requirements:

    - The data type must match. - The length of the target field cannot be shorter than the source field. - The format should match. - The target field must not be used in another mapping. - The source field must be visible on the entity form. - The target field must be a field a user can enter data into. - Address ID values cannot be mapped.

    Hi Jonathan,

you dont have to look exactly for 'new_sourcecampaign', it depends on your default Publisher and the schema-name you entered during the create process of the field.

The error you posted later says that's something wrong with the typ for your field. Looks like you have choosen "Addresses" instead of "Campaigns" as target entity.

    Cheers

    Ben
