How can I delete or block a location? We are trying to edit the location setup to disable “Direct Put Away and Pick” but we couldn’t do it so the approach we are trying is delete or inactivate the current locations to create new ones. Do you have any advise?

Hi, Unfortunately, so far there is no locationblocking feature.

You can try the following.

1. Delete the posting setup

2. Using security filter

3. Customisation

4. Delete (Not recommended)

You can change the location setup but only if there is no inventory or no open records for the location you want to change.

Hi,

There is no such feature of block in standard system for this do the customization.

if you not want to do customization. Go to the Inventory Posting Group and remove the Location related setups for particular location

Disabling Directed Put-away and picks is always possible unless you have inventory in the Adjustment bin.

If you need to change the location setup, try to solve the setup before thinking of blocking the location.

What error you get when you disable the Directed Put-away and picks field?
