Are you using CRM Online or On-Premise?

If you use CRM Online, the CRM resides on MS Servers, and you have no access to that database.

We use CRM Online for a MVC application which access CRM data, but the database structure and design was implemented by using CRM Customizations, nothing directly in SQL.

    Hi

You need MS SQL 2012 Standard version minimum (as the system requirement) to install CRM (On-premises).

But, I can see from your tags that you are using Dynamics 365 online. So, in which context you want to use SQL Server.

    Please provide more details.
