Discipline Stage Detail - Suspension

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Good morning.  We have noticed that if we enter a Suspension into the Discipline Stage Detail window, then proceed to select the "without pay" button, it makes the employee inactive.  Has anyone had any experince with this or is there a setting that can prevent this from happening?  We are entering old records into the system and even entered the dates of the suspension without pay (April, 2000).  Any advice would be appreciated.  Thanks.

We have had this problem as well, even with the "with pay" option. It's throwing off our deductions and making payroll quite difficult. We have searched for a way to change this setting, but I have yet to find one. Has anyone else had success altering this setting?
