Hello All Experts,

while importing the solution getting below error for a CUSTOM ENTITY.

Specified argument was out of the range of valid values.
Parameter name: Picklist option with value (100000000) that has the parent OptionSet with (626effd6-7d82-4aeb-9f4e-113855ce8650) id does not exist. Default picklist value has to be one of the option values

can anyone help me in resolving this.

    Sorry my mistake,

i didn't read the provided url information correctly.

I need to check the customization.xml file.

after checking that i come to know that there are four optionsets which are having values as the value in error for AppDefaultValue tag.

if i delete All these optionsets from the prod environment and then again do the import will that be working??

i figured out  4 to 5 optionset which can be causing issue.

if i remove these optionset from the target and then reimport the solution.

    will that work??

    Hello Nithya,

according to the link you provided , i am trying to delete the optionset fileds but while deleting getting the message the field cannot be deleted because it depends on the other components.

is there any simple way which i could use to import the solution.

    Hi

From your original post, my understanding is that

You have an optionset which refers a global optionset.

For some reason you have assigned a default value, which is not one of the options in the global optionset.

Is it an unmanaged solution you are importing from one environment to another? I think if you just added 10000000 option to that option set on both sides (in the source and destination environments), then re-exported the solution, and, then, tried to import it, that would have solved the problem for now.. and you'd be able to figure out what's wrong with the option and whether you need it at all after that.
