SOAP Integration Dynamics 365 FO

Greetings,

I'm attempting to create a SOAP integration with Dynamics 365 FO (v10.0.33), utilizing DataContracts to model parameters and the results for various calls.
Despite attempts with different naming conventions, I'm encountering an issue: the services are visible via REST (/xxxx/api/services/), but not through SOAP—although standard SOAP services operate as expected.

I've tried declaring dataContracts using DataContract, DataContractAttribute, using SysEntryPointAttribute(true) at the calls,...

Any insights on this discrepancy would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Creating a SOAP integration with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365FO) using Data Contracts is a great approach for modeling parameters and results.

Here's a step-by-step guide to help you get started:
    Define Data Contracts
    Create a Service Proxy
    Set Up Binding and Endpoints
    Prepare the Request
    Make the SOAP Call
    Handle the Response
    Exception Handling
    Logging and Monitoring
    Testing
    Optimization

Depending on the complexity and frequency of your SOAP calls, you might consider implementing optimizations such as connection pooling and asynchronous patterns.

Remember that SOAP integrations may vary based on the specific D365FO version and configuration.

    Hi User,

How did you try accessing the SOAP service? Through <base Url>/soap/services/<Service Group> ?
    What error are you getting?
