Can't Adjust Dedicated Bin

Hello,

We currently have all Advanced Warehouse Functionality turned on with the exception of Put-Away Worksheet Required.

At some point someone moved a bunch of defective inventory into a dedicated bin to prevent it from showing up on picks.

We just completed our year-end count and are now trying to adjust out this inventory out, but are unable to without getting the Qty Base error.

I have tried Warehouse Inventory Journal, Warehouse Reclassification Journal, Movement Worksheet.

And of course you can't change the Bin Type because there is inventory in it.

Any thoughts on how to get this inventory out of the dedicated Bin?

You could try to remove the Dedicated checkmark for this Bin, Adjust the quantities as needed, and then put it back.
If User cannot directly change the Checkmark - You can do it via Configuration Package, by taking out the Validate checkmark for this field. (or skip table validations for the Config.package table line).

    Can't Adjust Dedicated Bin
    Hi Yun,

Neither of those are viable solutions because Directed Put-Away and Pick are on. If I try using a Warehouse Item Journal, Warehouse Item Reclass, or Movement Worksheet I get this error:

But there is the 500 available:

This is the case with every item in this BIN.

Hi, I'm not sure, I think you could try Item Reclassification Journals.

Or in Item Journals, try positive and negative adjustments.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
