But it is working fine in classic view
Just to close the loop on this, we have documented this in that article:

Hi Henry,
Thank you very much for the information, this is the behaviour we're experiencing so good to know this is correct. We'l; advise users of the new process.
Hugh
Hi Hugh,
This is actually the expected behavior. With the April 2020 Release Wave, we added the contextual menus for our rich text experiences which allow you to interact with the appropriate commands for elements such as links, tables, text, images, etc. or Cut, Copy, Paste, as you mentioned.
The native browser spell check functionality remains available using Ctrl + right-click.

Hi Henry,
We've got Dynamics 365 cloud-hosted and have a similar problem with unified interface. Spelling mistakes are highlighted (with a grey dashed line) but when you right click all your get is Cut, Copy and Paste as options, no spellcheck at all.
Hugh
Hi Naga,
I understand that you are using Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement on-premises.
On this version (9.0), the Unified Interface is actually only available in an early version – it is very limited by nature and has a lot of known parity gaps with the web client – so unless you have very simple use cases, it is probably best to remain on the web client.
As mentioned in this FAQ, the web client is only deprecated for online customers, not on-premise customers.
We will continue to support the legacy web client for on-premises deployments as part of the product support lifecycle (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/search).
