Assistant not showing notifications/insights

Under Sales Insights Settings / Assistant Studio / Insight Cards we have confirmed the "Email Opened' Insight card is active. The insight card is showing on the contact however this is not showing up when selecting the Assistant menu at the top (lightbulb). No notifications or insights are showing under this menu.

Any ideas on why the assistant feature may not be working?

thanks

the cards that shown the notification are for those entities where the person is the owner while the cards in entity dashboard are all cards whether the user is the owner of not.

can you check where you are owner of the entity.

    Thx,

    Terlochan

Hello, I am an admin in the system and have setup the notifications for testing. They are working and show up on for example the Contact (ss below) but the same notification is not showing up when selecting the Notifications Light Bulb (ss 2 below)

    Hi,

The cards on the dashboard or the bulb icon are for the records that you own or the team you are part of, owns.

However the email card that you are seeing on the contact page is because the email is regarding that contact, and hence you are able to see it.

But if you do not own that email, you wont be able to see it on the bulb icon or the dashboard.

    Thanks,

    Ziyaan

Hi, thanks for your response. I am getting other cards to show on the bulb icon assistant at this point but not working for the missed email card.

Regarding your post I understand what you are saying however I am not sure how you can 'own' an inbound email? My understanding is by owning the record, in this case a contact, it would let you know you have missed an inbound email from that contact. If not I am not sure how this card is supposed to work?

Overall we are trying to utilize D365 exclusively for our employees email but they need a way to see if they have inbound email.

    Hi,

Can you retrieve the cards through odata in the browser: "orgurl/api/data/v9.0/actioncards" and check the ownerid field for the card you are talking about and confirm that the owner id is you.

    Thank you,

    Ziyaan
