One my developers got me hooked on this tool:
It's worth the license fee. It does intellisense not only for the CRM keywords and objects, but fieldnames (including custom) as well.
There is a trial version... the only danger is that you will get hooked on it.

I've seen some helpful tools and code come out of Microsoft's PFE team. They could probably do more to support partners and customers, but I'm sure they're just as busy as us implementing the growing list of products.
