I need a bit of process advice on multiple expiration dates error. The system isn't allowing me to reclassify, sell or use the problematic lot number on assembly orders. If I try to use the reclassification journal to change the lot number or expiration date it simply errors stating the issue of multiple expiration dates.
Brief description of steps:
- used a reclassification journal to change an expiration date on leftover stock for one lot number
- then used Undo assembly on one of the assemblies dated before the reclassification journal - this brought some items with the same lot number (and the old expiration date) back into stock
- we have now ended up with one item/one lot no/two different expiration dates
How do we change the problematic multiple expiration dates?
