Sharing a Personal View with Field Level Security Columns

If I create a personal view and add criteria or columns that have Field Level Security enabled, what happens when I share this view with users who do not have permission to view the field? Will they not be able to see the view or just not see the columns for that field? What happens if that field is in the criteria.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi d365user123,

    You can refer following document:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/developer/security-dev/use-field-security-control-access-field-values?view=op-9-1#how-do-secured-fields-behave-when-records-are-shared

A user with access to a secured field in a record can share it with another user or team. The user can only give the access that they have on the record. For example, to share the record and grant Update privileges, the user must have update privileges.
You can share a secured field on a particular record with Read and/or Update with a security principal (user or team). The user or team members with whom the record was shared now have that type of secured field access only on the shared secured fields on only that particular record, even if the user or team member to whom it was shared does not have a field security profile that gives them access.

Views with the secured field as a collumn will be shown to the user, but the secured field will not show data if the user does not have authorization to view the field. Filtered views will not return data if the calling user does not have authorization to view the fields.
