Number Sequence Preallocation not allocating new next number

Hello,

i set the preallocation value of LOT id number sequence by 10

as we know, the LOT id are assigned 4 value on Transfer Order Lines(Lot id, Lot Id Transit from, Lot Id Transit to, and Lot id Receive) as i am not using Scrapped item

currently, i cannot get the 3 line of transfer order line LOT id value because the number sequence cannot reallocate new values and i have to restart the IIS each time the number sequence cannot allocate new next number(the website hang)

Are there any workaround of this?

Note: i test the issue on PU 33 of D365 Fo development server with no custom

I have the same question (0)

Does it work without issues if you don't use preallocation?

    Hi,

Can you share the setup screenshot as well? Also, let us know if it works without preallocation. I just tried using preallocation in my Dev environment which is standard as well and it works without any issues.

    number sequence before TO

you may also want to try doing Manual cleanup of number sequence.

The last option to try would be creating a new number sequence altogether and use it.

    Hi,

i tried this again without using preallocation and it returned the same result when saving the TO lines(it hanged)

This is the number sequence of Lot ID with the preallocation turned on

i set the preallocation value bigger so that it can be tested longer without having to restart the IIS each transaction

Ok, so it seems that preallocation is not related to the problem at all.

Instead fetching a number from Inventory lot sequence causes your system to hang.

Does it happen only on Inventory lot number sequence? Do other number sequences work correctly in this system?

If it only happens on this number sequence, I suggest you to debug it to find what exactly causes the hang.
