Hi Community,

I am getting the following error message: "There is nothing to post because the document does not contain a quantity or amount" when trying to post a Sales Order:

The order has a quantity and amount in both lines

 

Both lines also have a quantity to ship:


 

Any idea on how to fix this?

    Are these lines inserted via AL code or an external API?
    It seems that the Validate Trigger is not executed. When posting, the system looks at the fields of the "base" quantity, which are hidden by default. Try to enter the line directly on the page to see if it can be posted.

    Agree with the previous reply, please check is quantity field where you inserted value is base field or custom field.
