Hi,

Is any way that we can replace the SID in userInfo table to change any existing user account to other user account in AX 7?

I tried to replace the SID, and network domain, networkAlias, but no luck.

Thanks,

PS. If you can't find the tool on your desktop (which is a shortcut), you can run the tool from the file explorer: C:\AOSService\PackagesLocalDirectory\Bin\AdminUserProvisioning.exe

    Hello Yuji,

The Admin Provisioning Tool is on the Desktop of the local VM. All you have to do is log in with

    • User name: Administrator
    • Password: pass@word1

    See here for more info.

    Hi Yuji,

The link to the tool should be present on the desktop of the VM if you logged in with the administrator user.

    Hi André,

Yes, that is the reason. Do you have the link about Admin provisioning tool.

    Thanks,

    Hi Yuji,

Can you provide the reason why you want to do this? If it is related to getting initial access on a local DEV/DEMO machine, you have to use the Admin provisioning tool which can be started from the desktop. More changes are done using this tool; not only the user information.

There is no other reason to fiddle with the SID as it will be retrieved from Azure AD when providing the correct email and tenant information on the user.
