Security Roles in AX 2012 - Disable buttons on form using security roles

Hi,

I am working on security roles.I need to disable some buttons in a form.I have a form A .In that form I have a menuitem button which opens form B.But the system  uses some code in clicked method of menu item in form A's design to open form B.I need to disable the buttons in form B using security roles.How can I acheive this.Is there any way to do it using Security keys  in AX. Any one who know about this plz help me.

    Hi Anamika

    Maybe did you mean, disable the Button in Form A.

    However, if the form B is called by the Menuitem, you can use the Security Framework to handle the proper user rights, so create Privilege, etc.

    If the form B is called by code, try to take a look at msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg846643.aspx

    Hi Anamika,

    The link provided by Denis is good if the association is dependent on the access level on form A.

    If you want to manage it separately, you can set the property NeededPermission of the button in form A to manual.

    You then have to add the form and button control in the permissions node of or a privilege or the role.
