Hi community,
We use Excel to do a lot of data analysis, so we export data in Dynamics to Excel, using "Edit in Excel" feature. The most important table we use is Posted_Sales_Invoices. But when we export data in that table to Excel, we found many fields missing.
For example, there is no Sell_to_Customer_No field available, only Sell_to_Customer_Name. Since we sell to customers all over the world, we sometimes run into different customers that have same name.
We know Posted Sales Invoice documents contain reference to Customer No., why is it not exported to Excel? Can we somehow add the Customer No. field back to the exported table?
Thanks in advance!

Solution found: Actually I found two different tables in Financials: one is called Sales Order Invoice, id 132, another is called Sales Order Invoices, id 143.
Their names are very similar, but have different fields. I found Customer No. field in table 143. So I can use the Design tool in Dynamics Excel add-in to get those records. Problem solved!
Just wondering why there are two tables for one type of record...
