Hide ribbon button when in Create mode

Hi,

I've customized the "Phone Call" button in my Contact command bar in order to change it's position to appear right after the New button. I removed all the Display and Enable rules and it worked fine but the problem is that I have the Phone Call button appearing in the Create entity mode. (After I click New, the Phone Call button is displayed in the form). But I would like to only show my button in the Edit mode of the Contact entity only.

I tried adding back the Enable rules one by one to see which of them is responsible for hiding the button when the entity is in create mode but I couldn't actually reach a conclusion.

How can I achieve that ?

Thanks

    Yes. You can achieve it.Write one simple java script function as  display rule and in this function check entity form type is equal to "Update".If its true then return true otherwise false.

    function displayPhonecallCommandRule()

    {

    if(Xrm.Page.ui.getFormType()=="2")

      {

    return true;

      }else{return false;}

    }

    hope this will help.

    Hi SB User,

    You can use also the formstate = existing

    Using the ribbon workbench, add the rule: form state if you don't want to use javascript in other way (codeless)

    Thanks a lot I ended up using the Form State Rule as in @Aileen Gusni's answer. I found it to be the simplese option.
