When I click on the Advanced Find icon on the Navigation Bar in CRM 2015, a new window is opened up with the Advanced Find dialog. However, the browser window from which I opened Advanced Find becomes locked, as if the Advanced Find dialog is a modal dialog. This seems to happen sporadically on my machine. I am running IE 11 on Windows 8.1. I wish I had more details on when this has been happening, but it has recently been happening more often than not. I find that I have to open a new IE11 window just to use for opening advanced find windows.
