Hi,
I am trying to update a setting of Field Service Mobile App via Intune policy and I have the following questions:
Please feel free to let me know if I am doing it incorrectly or if there's other way to do this.
Thanks!
Cheers,
Marvin
Hi Marvin,
Intune is a separate Microsoft product that is not included with Field Service, you can ask related questions on the following link:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/tags/415/intune
But it seems that Intune can't achieve your goal based on the Microsoft documentation:
Maybe you can refer to the following thread:
Hi Leah,
I have the exact same question as Marvin, and - sorry - no, this does not answer the initial question. The Dynamics product team provides the iOS app, this has nothing to do with Intune. When programming the app, developers can offer configuration keys specific to their app so that platforms like Intune can put values here to pre-configure the app. In real life, an end user won't have to struggle with a cryptic address that she/he has to copy/paste into a field that only shows up when you open the advanced options. Therefore, administrators want to set the url value centrally.
So, if there are keys that can be filled out? Due to the lack of any documentation on this (at least I couldn't find any clue), the question is how the keys are named so that we can fill our path to the on-premises BC.
