Printing financial statements for a particular period

I am new to Great Plains and I am trying to get our financial statements set up. I have used the Advanced Financial Statements to get the formatted like I want except for one problem. I can’t select a period for my reports. They always run for the entire period to date. Like for the whole year up to that date. So I don’t know how to get just a particular period selection. Do you know how I can get help?

In quick financial reports, have you tried inserting the Current Period column? This is only available for the Profit & Loss and Cash Flow Statement reports.

Yes I have selected for the current period column to be there. But I don't have any options such as printing P  & L and Cash Flow for a prior period. For example, it is now Oct, but I still need to print reports for September. There is no option that I can find to be able to select a period except the current. Do you know of any way to do that?

Suggest you look at the Help files for how to setup your reports.  You actually have to go into Advanced Financial Layout (Reports>Financial>Advanced Financial) to change reporting periods.  Check out Printable Manuals (Help>Printables Manuals>Reporting>Advanced Financial Analysis).

There is nothing about how to change dates or if we need an income statement for 2 or 3 months etc
