Does anyone know of a way (programmatically) to limit the size of images being uploaded to BC? Users phones are all, by default, set to high res. They keep blowing up the Database by adding images that are too big. They only need to be 72dpi.
Good question. Where exactly are the images going? Item pictures?
This isn't an answer, but it gives a little background on how images are handled:

To the Item Card.... Images Factbox. THanks.
Looking at this from an indirect angle the api does not review file size and only width and height. If you were to remove the upload option in the modern/phone/tablet client then you could control image upload in a different way. So for example create a powerapp. If you temporarily store an uploaded image in Sharepoint you can check the file size: powerusers.microsoft.com/.../212729
If the file meets a certain file size condition then pass it through the BC connector in power automate.
Making this suggestion given I can’t locate anything on checking the size of a stream which is how the image is passed.
