Change Ops Sandbox from tier 3 to tier 2

What is the process to change a D365 Ops Sandbox tier 3 environment to tier 2? Is it as simple as changing the license and applying that to the LCS environment or is there more to it? I cannot find any documentation covering this.

Hi,
I also didn't find relevant documentation, and I suggest you ask Microsoft if you can change the sandbox environment tier, or wait for advice from other experts who have experience in this.

Hi Connor,

If you have a performance tier sandbox, then this is part of your license subscription. You can indeed change the license, but you might need to wait for a renewal option. I don't know the exact license terms for this. You can better contact your selling partner to get clarity.
