We use Dynamics SL for reporting time against projects. The labor costs were updated for 2018 to the wrong rates and this wasn’t caught until mid-January. The updates were made but when Accounting tried to recalc All projects for January, but got back no results and was told by support team they had to make an update to timecard for the new rate to be picked up. We estimate thousands of timecard entries affected by this issue so it’s not feasible to manually update each timecard. Are their other options?

I have the same question (0)The only other option is use SQL to update the costs in PJLABDIS and PJTRAN. If gl labor posting has already been run, then you have to create a journal entry to book the additional cost (whether positive or negative). By using SQL to do the update though, there is no audit trail unless you have a third party software like SL Auditor. (by vendor kb technologies), so proceed with caution.
