Hi,

We are facing an issue with the gift cards. We randomly get this message below. We use unique gift card making sure card is not in use anywhere else, but still getting this error. Terminal is the same terminal we are processing the gift card on.

    Which action(s) are you performing before getting this error message?

    There are few scenarios below but it comes up randomly

    1- where i do top up and complete the sale transaction and check the balance of the the same card - once i complete top up a gift card and click check balance and enter gift card number - error comes up

    2 - paying by gift card for instore sale - adding item in basket and click to pay by gift card and enter gift card number and this comes up

    I could see there is an internal request for hotfix being investigated for this:

    "Requesting gift card balance returns an error when requested in rapid succession.

    The gift card is in use at store 'STORENAME', terminal 'TERMINALNAME'. Please try again later."

    In some weeks, please ask me here for the status of it and I will check it for you.
