How can we create a task automatically in outlook when the lead is created in Dynamic CRM?

Dear Colleagues!

We have a question... We have implemented Microsfot Dynamics CRM in our company and we need to know if it is possible, when a lead is created in our CRM, that this action sends a task to the owner in his outlook. Our idea is to create a task in his outlook so that the owner has an alert and knows that he has to manage the lead.

Is this possible? If the answer is not yes, ¿do you know another way for create a alert to the owner outside the Dynamic platform, for example: send sms, whatsapp, or other channel?

How can we create a task automatically in outlook when the lead is created in Dynamic CRM?

    Hi Manu Moreno,

    It can easily be achieved by using Power Automate.

    If you enabled integration between outlook & CRM and you can see your task in outlook then you just need to create a task against the lead. 

    If you do not want to integrate outlook with Dynamics CRM in this case you can send an email to the lead owner.

    This all is easily done by Power Automate on the creation of a lead.

    Hi Manu,

    Greetings! As per my understanding on lead assignation we are already creating the task for the lead owner in CRM system right ? 

    Problem statement is only you want to sync that to outlook client so that he/she will get reminder to take the action. If that is the case it can be achieved out of box way without writing any flow just by performing server side synchronization of tasks.
