Greetings:
About a month ago I saw a serial number field on the Fixed Asset Card. Has that been phased out of this edition of MS Dynamics 365?

Definitely not there anymore - I thought it might have gotten buried under the 'Show More' option.
I was afraid of that. It was a part of a process I was using for a client. I'm going to fall back to them using the description field for their serial numbers.
