Send Direct Email Event Issue

Hello There,

I am cleaning up system and cannot figure out why a basic workflow to send an email to a contact record is failing.  Based on audit history of email record, it sets record to "Completed" and "Pending Send" status.  Can someone help me explain why the "Send Email" event is setting record to completed and not allowing email to go out?

Here is audit history of Email record.  I tried updating status to open to try to re-send, but it still sets it to completed.

Workflow is very basic (condition then send email)

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

RE: Send Direct Email Event Issue

    Hi Monica,

If you send an email from CRM Online to yourself not using a Workflow do you receive it?

If you are not receiving the email that is the first thing you need to check.

Are you using Server Side Sync? Connecting to Exchange Online?

And you can refer following link, which is the best article on troubleshooting email issues in CRM.
